Pivotal provides young people in and from foster care in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties with trauma-responsive individualized academic coaching, college scholarships, professional development, and career readiness support as they navigate the critical years from high school to college and into the workforce. Their coaching and support services allow them to stick by foster youth through unstable home placements, school changes, and life challenges to ensure they remain focused on their goals. Pivotal’s Academic & Career Coaching Project will be highlighted at the 100 Points of Light Event.

Wisdom International: Help2Others’ mission is to prevent human trafficking before harm begins, and their vision is a world free from exploitation and slavery. The goal is to educate all about the harms of human trafficking, what it looks like from recruitment and grooming to the horror of being trafficked, to prevent new victims from falling prey to traffickers, and to assist those already trapped to find the help they need. The Rotary Club of Peninsula Starlight invites you to join us for a lively evening to support non-profits doing good. It is a friendly competition between the selected non-profits. This not-to-miss event will feature delicious fare, drinks, socializing and community building. Check back frequently to book your tickets early!

Engaging Presentations

Hear short (10-minute) engaging presentations from three local nonprofit organizations. Learn more about these important projects from their passionate ambassadors.

Voting Rights

Attendees will cast their vote for the presentation/project/non-profit mission that moved them the most. You will decide how they place and what portion of the pot they will receive. Bring your like-minded friends to help support these projects.

Delicious Food & Tasty Beverages

Enjoy delicious light and heavy appetizers. There will be sweet treats as well. Visit the no-host bar for wine, beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Frequently Asked Questions

100 Points of Light is a yearly event run by the Rotary Club of Peninsula Starlight Foundation and it’s an opportunity to bring people together and support multiple non-profit organizations’ projects in one fun event.

Selected non-profits will each give a 10-minute presentation to showcase the project they are working to fund.

Attendees will vote for the presentation that they felt was best delivered and/or moved them the most.

Attendee voting determines which portion of funds each group receives. Each will receive a portion of the proceeds.

Applications for the upcoming event are now closed. Provide your contact information if you would like to be notified when the next application window opens

We expect to have more applications than spots available for presenting at the event. Completing this application does not guarantee participation or funding.
