Now Taking Non-Profits Applications for 100 Points of Light Event – 2023

We are now taking applications!

While we are still putting the final touches on the website we are happy to announce that the non-profit application form is live!

The application will be evaluated for its potential to meet as many of the following criteria as possible:

  1. Be technically and economically feasible.
  2. Address community needs.
  3. Foster self-sufficiency.
  4. Demonstrate environmental sensitivity
  5. Promote social and gender equity.
  6. Fit within Rotary areas of focus

The application deadline is January 31st.

Three non-profit organizations will be selected to participate in this fun, annual event. Each one will give a 10-minute presentation about their organization’s project with the objective of receiving the most votes.

Attendees will vote for their favorite presentation. Funds raised will be distributed based on the number of votes received.

If you have a non-profit or know of one you want to recommend – please share this post!

The Website is Under Construction!

The Peninsula Starlight Rotary group is excited to announce the launch of our new website for the 100 Points of Light event!

This website will be a valuable resource for all of the event’s participants, sponsors, and attendees, providing important information about the event, including the schedule of activities, speaker bios, and sponsorship opportunities.

However, please note that it is currently under construction and will be updated regularly as we add new information.

We understand the importance of providing accurate and up-to-date information about the event and are committed to ensuring 100pol.org meets this expectation.

We are confident this will be a valuable tool for all those involved with the 100 Points of Light event, and we look forward to sharing all the pertinent information with you as soon as possible.

Stand by and here’s to a great event!
